I'm currently developing a series of fun tours and programs which seek to connect people to places by exploring the natural environment, social history, government policy, and the way these elements shape land use and the everyday shared lived environment in which we live, work and play. By adding these layers of understanding to a walking tour, we can explore the story of a place, its history, and the decision-making process which governs its current and future use. In particular, I want my tours to serve as an introduction to a place and to provide people with the knowledge and tools they need to participate in the public dialogue and decision-making process that controls public spaces and their use.
